2D ILLUSTRATION TO 3D MODEL

Students were given the last month of the course to work on their own individual passion project. The student must use a 3D software, such as Maya or Blender, to develop the project.
For my Wicked Sick Project, I created a 3D sculpted version of a 2D drawn fantasy character. I sculpted it first in Blender and then transferred it to Maya to retopologize it (since I am more familiar with Maya's quad draw). After retopologizing it, I fully textured it using Substance Painter, put it back in Maya, rigged it, set up lights, and rendered stills. I edited the photos to make it look like a stylized, aged portrait.
